Through God's Eyes
When God created the woman as man's help meet; he made an extraordinary thing. Upon completion of his master piece, God created a garden then placed man inside the garden with specific instructions. God saw the loneliness of man and created a help meet for him. Adam called her, Woman. Now Adam and Eve had their own challenges to deal with later but the plan was already set in motion.

Solomon's Thoughts
Solomon writes in an epilogue, "Who can find a virtuous woman? her price is far above rubies." He begins to describe such a woman that he questions in Prov. 31:10 in the latter verses. In summary, we could say that this woman is a successful business person, a hockey mom, or a counselor, the baker next door, the television mogul that everyone is talking about; the friend that says the right words with a touch of gentleness; or the close partner in the times of deep sorrow. Yes, you've met her . . . she is the one working on behalf of someone else, never taking thought of her own situation in life. She rises early to work to help her family in tough economic times. Sometimes seen at hospitals, nursing homes, and nurseries sharing a bit of daily cheer. The role of the woman since the beginning of time has been that of a help meet; and when moved by God to act, does that very thing. Solomon I believe we have found that virtuous woman.

Through Our Eyes
On this day we pause to recognize the achievements of the women in our lives. The ones who were their for us during the highest moments to the very darkest of our existence. Whether the woman is your mother, grandmother, aunt, spiritual adviser, or best friend today we pause to tell her thanks. Thanks for taking time to care for me when i didn't care for myself. God placed you here with a specific purpose in mind which blossoms as a summer flower in due season. The help that is provided through the role of this woman is of caring, compassion, nurturing, loving, and even giving there very last to advance someone else’s cause. To the almighty God I say, Thank You for this precious creator called of Adam, Woman.
