Look to the Hills
My help comes from the Lord
 When the test and trials of this life try to pull you down; look to the hills. When turmoil seem to be present with you daily and you can't find a quiet moment in your day; look to the hills. When the boss begins to pass out the pink slips and he stops at your desk to say, "you are dismissed, your services are no longer needed here"; look to the hills. When you are unable to find a job before the funds in your account runs out; look to the hills. When you've run out of savings, credit cards are to the limit and you received your last unemployment check; look to the hills. When the doctor says, "yes the test is positive, you have Cancer"; look to the hills. When your child comes home to say, "I'm leaving this house, your church, our family, and doing it on my own; my way!"; look to the hills.
David writes in the Psalm, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help [cometh] from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD (is) thy keeper: the LORD [is] thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." Why, because he cares for you.
 So the next time your having a tough time in school with a test; look to the hills. Or your friends turn their backs on you when you needed them most; look to the hills. A loving friend has past on to be with the Lord; look to the hills. Your parents decide to divorce after some loving years; look to the hills.

The economic downturn that our country faces is one that finds a lot of people out of work, laid off, or accepting lower wages to make ends meet. In my opinion, now is an excellent time to re-evaluate your career path.
Re-certification, seeking higher education, or even taking some night classes may prove to be the edge that you need to get things moving forward or even providing a higher visibility during promotion time.
Remember, Jesus says that he will bless what ever you put your hands to do. The goal here is to “do” something wherein your hands may be blessed of the Lord. Have your local Pastor or Minister lay hands on your hands for a season of blessings.
