New Year's Resolution
 Happy New Year!, the partygoers screamed from the top of their lungs as the clock struck midnight on this bitter cold night. The crowded time square filled with revelers from shoulder to shoulder celebrating the New Year with a bang. In various venues across the globe, the New Year resolutions begin to pour into the atmosphere like the champagne bubbles from the bottles shaken for party effect.
Some of the standard resolutions are to lose some weight, or to spend more time with family, and even to save more money in the coming year. One resolution that you do not hear often is to spend more time with Jesus Christ (Yahshua Messiah). Jesus wants to spend more time with you in your daily walk. He wants to provide direction for you in your diet choices so that you won't fall victim to various disease. Jesus wants you to spend more time with your families in prayer, bible reading, or even just eating at the dinner table together.
 Finally, Jesus wants to play an intimate role in your financial matters. He says, "Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? For if he lays the foundation and is not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule (make fun of him) him, saying, 'This fellow began to build and was not able to finish.'" As you begin to reflect on the coming year and prepare your resolution, add Jesus (Yahshua) to your list then watch things begin to move in a positive direction.
