Somebody Prayed for You
Prayer makes a difference
 We sing a song in church, "somebody prayed for me, they had me on their mind; they took some time to pray for me". "I'm so glad they prayed for me". Prayer is simply talking to God. The dictionary defines prayer as the act of communicating with God especially as a petition or in adoration or contrition or thanksgiving. Prayers may consist of request for personal strength, character, or a renewal of the mind. Intercessory prayer is when you pray to the Lord on behalf of others during times of great need or distress. Prayer does make a difference in each of our lives, for the bible tells us that "men should always pray and not faint".
Did you know that Jesus (Yahshua) prayed for you? Many years ago before going to the cross, Jesus (Yahshua) prayed to the father to keep us from the bad things of this world. As Jesus (Yahshua) told Simon after the Passover meal, 'Satan has desired to have you that he may sift you as wheat; but I prayed for you'! Jesus (Yahshua) knew of the impending trouble that was about to come upon him and his disciples. The hour of trouble was present so Jesus (Yahshua) prayed for strength for his disciples during his time of sorrow.
 I'm sure you have experienced troubled times in your life. You may have seen someone else experience very difficult times whether it was an illness, financial, or relational problems, trouble seems to find us. Trouble seems to find everyone in some form but I’m writing to let you know that Jesus (Yahshua) prayed for you. He prayed for your strength and faith in him during the troubled times in our lives. When we take out time to speak to him about our situations, things begin to happen in our favor. Prayer changes things and people too. Remember that Jesus prayed for you.

In John 17 Jesus looked to heaven and said, "Father the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: as thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him." Later he prays to sanctify them through thy truth; for his words are true. Jesus Christ (Yahshua the Messiah) is the only one that has the words to life. He is the only one that can save you from your sins. Ask for forgiveness of your sins, receive Jesus (Yahshua) in your heart and walk in the newness of life.
